Hi my name is...

Alana Kayfetz, the content creator behind @MomHalo, serving up daily grinds of no bullsh*t parenthood. My content is founded on the pillars of our brand, the @MomHalo VIBES which are:

High Value Content

Deep Interpersonal connections to the community

Badass fun and joy

Meaningful Experiences

Smart relevant educational moments

Who is your target audience?

Our core demographic are Millenial moms, primarily first time moms that are exploring their new sense of self, meeting themselves for the first time, in the cross section of who they were before parenthood, and who they are now. I offer our fans and followers the permission slip to pick themselves up in their parenting journey.

How did you get into content creation?

After having my first child in 2016, I felt like I did not have a community that I related to. I started hosting live events in my house and fast forward, we have a dynamic community of Canadian moms that interact with our content daily. When instagram began with the stories feature, is when I decided to move toward putting my face on our feed and talking to our community daily. It was a pivot from snapchat to instagram that took us to the next level.

What or who inspires you?

I find myself inspired by more seasoned moms on social that have gone through the early years of the trenches and have come out rather okay on the other side. It was those moms that made me feel complete and seen.

What is your favourite platform to create for and why?

I am an instagram creator, it's my favourite platform for my community. We know moms come to us for inspiration, education and to be entertained. It's such a powerful platform that allows me to do all those things.

What did it feel like the first time you went viral?

We went viral shortly after our first mom event. We were being discovered by fans, followers and brands because they had never seen content similar to what we create. They did not see young moms with wine in one hand and a baby in the other. It was a game changer to move the dial on the conversations of how women choose to embrace all the elements of motherhood and personhood.

What does success look like to you?

Success looks like giving a single mom a good day, 5 days a week. I live to serve up content that allows someone to feel less alone, isolated or unsure of themselves. When a mom joins our card carrying membership community, and makes a new real life mom friend, is when I am over the moon with excitement.

What is one piece of advice to share with other / aspiring Creators?

Create content all day long and pick and share what you feel really meets your values and pillars for a personal brand. What are the 5 things you want to be known for and then build your content creation around those rules.

What advice would you give brands looking to partner with Creators?

Allow Creators to be part of the creative process, together we can make magic!

If you could have your dream collab, who would it be with and what would you do.

If we could collab with Netflix and do a series showcasing behind the scenes of our event productions and follow along the stories of the real women behind the magic of our community, it would help millions of moms feel less along on the trials and tribulations of motherhood.

IF YOU LIKED THAT, CHECK THESE OUT

WE WOULD LOVE TO COLLAB
